Guilherme Vilaça, Lecturer of XJTU School of
Law, has recently returned from a series of international conferences both
domestically and abroad.
The Symposium of the Chinese Academy of Social
Sciences Forum & Eleventh International Law Forum “Opportunities and
Challenges for International Law: Crisis, Order, and Law” was held in Beijing
on 15-16 November, 2014. Lecturer Vilaça spoke about "Transnational Law
& International Legal Theory" at the conference.
He also attended the 2nd International Congress on Legal Education at Hacettepe University in Ankara on
19-22 November, and delivered a talk on “Why Teaching Legal Theory? And What
Kind?”
On 28 November, he discussed the concept of law
in global administrative law at the Lisbon Workshop on Global Administrative Law organized by the Lisbon
Centre for Research in Public Law, Portugal.
